What does “Dyad Health” mean?

The word “dyad” refers to a significant relationship between two people. At Dyad Health, we believe the therapeutic process depends not only on the work done by the individual, but also the quality and nature of the relationship between the patient and their therapist. Who does Dyad Health serve?

Dyad Health serves adults ages 18 and older, with a special emphasis on first responders and working professionals. Some of the issues we specialize in treating include anxiety, life transitions, personal growth, burnout, relationship conflict, family/work stressors and substance use problems.

Where can I find Dyad Health?

Our practice is conducted exclusively via telemedicine. All therapy appointments are held via secure Zoom session. Currently, we are only able to treat California and Colorado residents.

Why telehealth?

Teletherapists follow the same privacy laws and ethical guidelines as brick-and-mortar therapists. We make every effort to keep your private health information secure, but we cannot guarantee that a breach of privacy will not happen due to the dependence of teletherapy on insecure technology.

Telehealth provides the opportunity to do therapy from where you feel most comfortable and both cuts down on commute times for the patient and overhead costs for Dyad Health.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can book an initial appointment on our website by clicking here, or by emailing the practice coordinator at jeremy@dyadhealth.com.

How much does it cost?

Each session costs $145 paid through secure credit card payment or Venmo (@Dyadhealth). Payment is due at the time of your session. We understand that unexpected circumstances arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice via Email at Jeremy@dyadhealth.com.

A cancellation within 24 hours or a no-show will incur a $75 late cancellation fee. Exceptions may be made for emergencies or unforeseen circumstances—please reach out if this applies.

We do charge a fee for letters and reports that take extra time beyond routine notes. This may include letters for work, school, or other requests. If you need documentation, please reach out, and we’ll be happy to discuss your needs and any costs.

5 Session discount: We do offer a discount if you purchase 5 sessions ahead of time. The sessions do not expire and you can book them at your convenience. The total price will be $650 (a $75 savings from buying individually).
